Wordless Wednesday: What's my name?

  1. Pretty, very pretty. I thought at first it was some sort of allium but then it is too early, isn't it??

    1. This little plant seeded itself in the middle of one of my sitting areas in the garden, Cheryl, and my first thought, too, was that it was something in the allium family. We do have wild onions around here, but they are mostly white-bloomed. The plant does grow from a tiny bulb and I find the flower very pretty. I haven't been able to identify it from my "Wildflowers of Texas" guide, so I'm hoping someone will recognize it.

    1. We'll just call her "X", Karin. She is pretty, isn't she?

    1. Still a mystery, Jayne. Anyway, whatever it is, I like it.
