This is the first time in three years that the snowball viburnum has bloomed for me, ccl. I threatened that if it didn't bloom this year, I was going to sun its roots. Wonderful what a little intimidation will do!
Well then maybe there's hope for mine! I have had it probably that long. It is probably as tall as I am and it sulks every year...demanding water or it will wilt in our hot summers. I better get some return this year...maybe I'll give mine an ultimatum!!
Try it, Jennifer! Couldn't hurt. I moved mine during the winter because I decided it was getting too much shade where it was. I noticed when I moved it though that it already had flower buds, so maybe that wasn't the problem after all. Sometimes it is hard trying to interpret what our plants are telling us.
