Thank you for posting this. I really miss the ARE in San Antonio and I've been meaning to visit the one in Brenham. After seeing your post I might have to take a drive out there.
These pictures were taken on our visit to Brenham last Monday. It is a wonderful place. They have over 300 varieties of antique roses, as well as many, many other plants, and the display gardens, where our pictures were taken, are just beautiful at this time of year.
Looks like a wonderful place. There are a couple of nurseries around Chicago that specialize in roses, but I have never visited them. Now I feel I have to go.

ReplyDeleteIt's a wonderful place to simply walk through even if you don't buy anything. But, of course, I did buy something!
