    1. Yes, there have definitely been fewer butterflies of all kinds this year, so each one is precious.

  2. Lovely photo! Last year I didn't see one single butterfly in my garden, but we had a dreadful summer with a lot of rain. This year we have an amazingly good summer and the butterflies are back. I don’t have very exotic looking butterflies here in my London garden though, they are mainly brownish or white, great to have them here even so :-)

    1. It's been just the opposite here. Last year was a good year for butterflies; this year not so much. But things do seem to be picking up lately.
