Oh I so wish I could have room for a Brugmansia – or five! Do you move them inside or do they overwinter outside? There are a few varieties that can overwinter outside here in London but they require mild winters and we haven’t had that for a few years – the winters lately have been quite cold so I haven’t dared getting one. The flowers are so lovely though.
My brugs are all planted in the ground so they have to take their chances with the winters. So far that hasn't been a problem for them. I've never had one fail to come back in the spring. Of course, typically, we do have mild winters, but there have been a couple of pretty cold ones in the last five years.
