They seem to be coping well in my yard which makes me happy. When I went outside early this morning, there was a tiny baby box turtle on my patio - first one I've seen in the yard this year. They come there for a handout of cat food. You can bet it made me smile to see him.Dorothy/Gardening with Naturehttp://gardeningwithnature.blogspot.com/2011/05/munchers-suckers-and-crunchers.html#commentsnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2275431955885463071.post-55366827979581752692011-05-30T21:45:06.291-05:002011-05-30T21:45:06.291-05:00I must say this is the strangest garden year I'...I must say this is the strangest garden year I've ever experienced. I think you are absolutely correct on the weather pattern. With that snow and ice we had this past winter and now this crazy crazy drought the insect cycles seem very disturbed. It is all I can do to hold down the fort without losing to many pretty's this year. I surely hope we don't loose to much wildlife as well, like the frogs and lizards and such.Pammyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15093707722407312896noreply@blogger.com
